Today was little Petal's birthday. Well, her 6 month day, but we still thought that deserved a celebration! The cake was a big hit, the party hats stayed on a LOT longer than expected and we even had guests!
Several of the neighbors brought over pumpkin-presents for all the goats to share before the party was in full swing. We appreciate the sharing, and the goats would have said thank you, but their mouths were full.
They did share with all the party guests though!
How to make a goat cake? Well, I made mine out of oats, sunflower seeds and a tiny big of sweet grain, help together with organic baby food and baked at 450 for 20 minutes. And then topped with Sunflowers for frosting of course! They seemed to like it.
Of course, there is always that one kid at the party the steals the birthday girl's thunder and has to be put in time out...
